The evening before it all begins
Troina is an ancient village carved into rock and light, a place of narrow turns, long shadows and views that fall away into the Nebrodi mountains. It’s here, on the quiet flank of Etna, that we’ll gather on 6 August 2026 in the late afternoon for an aperitivo and a slow passeggiata through the historic centre as the light changes.
As dusk settles, we’ll make our way to A Mecca I Crisafi, a zero-kilometre kitchen where what they grow is what you eat.

Why Troina?
Troina stands at 1,121 metres above sea level, perched in the mountains and sheltering centuries of history in its ancient stone walls, panoramic terraces, Norman cathedrals and winding alleyways so narrow you have to duck your head to pass through. We’ve spent enough time here for it to feel like home: the place that steadies and resets us, and the place we wanted you to see the night before everything begins.
Dress Code
Dressy Casual: Flowy dresses, linen sets, relaxed tailoring, and shoes that can handle cobblestones. Wear layers as the temperature drops after dusk.
