Our first days of marriage on Sicily’s northern coast. After the celebrations of the wedding weekend, we’ll slow down at Le Calette, a seaside retreat set in gardens above Caldura Bay just outside the historic town of Cefalù.
These first days of the honeymoon are meant to unfold gently. Mornings begin with coffee and the sound of the sea, followed by swims in the quiet coves below the cliffs overlooking the Tyrrhenian sea. From there we’ll spend the day wandering along the coastal paths around the hotel and into Cefalù itself.
In the evenings we’ll walk into the old town, where narrow streets open onto the cathedral square and lanterns glow above the stone alleys. Dinner might stretch late in a small trattoria before we wander back toward the sea.
